Ella Sanducci, 84, past away peacefully Thursday surrounded by her loving family.
Ella was born and raised in Hoboken and was often heard saying her favorite times were spent as a teenager at Babe’s Candy Store. She worked many years for the Hudson County C.E.T.A program where she was known for her quick wit and lunch time gags.
“Ella was predeceased by her husband John Sanducci, brothers, Charles Gwinnett, Robert Gwinnett and Steven O’Connel and sisters Ada Gwinnett, Anna Gordon, Sadie DeCamp, and Angelina White. She is survived by her devoted daughter Charlene Ludwig, her loving son John Sanducci Jr. and her beloved granddaughter, Alexandra Wright and her husband Logan Wright. Visitation for Ella will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home corner of 7th and Washington Sts Hoboken, NJ. Her funeral mass will be on Tuesday 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Church on 3rd and Jefferson Sts. Hoboken Entombment following at Flower Hill Mausoleum N. Bergen NJ.
