Maria Marin passed away peacefully Wednesday at Jersey City Medical center after suffering a long illness. Maria was born in Soline Dugi Otok, Croatia before coming to the US in 1971 and settling in Hoboken. She worked many years as a seamstress in the coat factories here in Hoboken. Maria is the beloved wife of her devoted Husband Mr. Petar Marin, she is the cherished mother of her loving son Petar Marin. She is survived by her two loving sisters Danica Caric and Neda Stipanov as well as her many caring Nephews. Visitation for Maria will be on Friday night from 8:00 to 10:00 at the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home 7^th and Washington Sts. Hoboken, NJ., Maria’s Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday Morning 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church 4^th and Willow Ave. Hoboken with her entombment following immediately at The Flower Hill Mausoleum North Bergen, NJ.
