Karen A. Ferguson, 75, passed away peacefully early Friday morning after a valiant battle with Polycythenia Vera. Karen was born and raised in Wald Lake, Michigan a small community outside of Detroit before locating in Hoboken for 20 years and finally settling in Fairfield NJ for the last 35 years. She worked at Keuffel & Esser in Hoboken in the 60’s, Arkwright Co. in Secaucus in the 80’s, and finally at FLM Graphics in Fairfield NJ up till her retirement 10 years ago. Karen enjoyed many summers at the Jersey Shore racing Sanderling Class Bay Boats and lakeside visits to her sister’s home in Michigan and especially her love of her many cherished dogs. Karen is the beloved mother of Elaine Walko and John E. Lawton; She is the cherished grandmother of Darian Walko, Emily Lawton and John W. Lawton; She is also survived by three loving siblings, Frank and Harry Zaverl and
Patti Page and many caring nieces and nephews. Relative and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Karen on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Lawton -Turso Funeral Home 7 th and Washington Sts. with a prayer service ending at 6:00 PM. Cremation Private, please make donations to your
