Frank John Gullo, 66, passed away Wednesday morning at his lifelong home in Hoboken surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was a born and raised a Hoboken resident and was well known in the community. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Warrington, was an alumnus of St. Peter’s College, an active parishioner and cantor for his beloved St. Joseph’s Church, an educator for thirty-three combined years in the Hoboken and Union City School Districts, a CYO basketball coach, an active member in the local political community and a consummate lover of music and good humor.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife Lynne (nee Romano), devoted children, his son Anthony Gullo and his wife Anna, his daughter Kristin Gullo, his cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Francis Gullo, his brother John Gullo and his wife Lois, his mother-in-law Catherine Romano and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral visitations will be held Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home in Hoboken on 7th and Washington St. parking attendant on 7th street side of funeral home. Services will be followed by a Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Hoboken with burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
