
John Seickendick, 86, of Hoboken, NJ passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018.
John was born to Harold and Jeanette Seickendick on February 21, 1932. He worked as a long shoreman, as well as owning a service station in Hoboken. John also served his country in the Army and Navy, respectively. After retirement, John was a fixture on 14th Street for many years.
John’s memory will be cherished by his children, Raymond Seickendick and Doreen Stukel, his grandchildren John Chickowski, Raymond Bing & Kerry, and Thomas Seickendick, and his sister Carol Scarborough. John joins his loved ones including his late parents and wife Patricia Seickendick, his brothers Harold, Donald, Bernie and Raymond, his sister, Lorraine Sheehan, his late sons Robert & John, and grandson, Robert Seickendick.
Visitation for John will be held on Friday December 14, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home on the corner of Seventh and Washington Streets (parking on Seventh Street). Private cremation.
