Ralph Anthony Angione, 97, passed away on April 9, 2019.
Born on September 24, 1921 to Robert and Maria Angione in Jamaica, NY, Ralph and his parents soon moved to New Jersey. Ralph grew and served his country entering WWII in November 1942, and earned a Purple Heart in the Battle of the Bulge. On furlough, Ralph met his wife, Antoinette Caporrino and they raised a loving family for 63 years. Ralph’s service continued in his work for the Veterans Administration over 30 years. In retirement, Ralph’s devotion to his faith guided him in ministering in hospitals and nursing homes and making many close friends at the Hoboken Gospel Chapel.
Ralph rejoins his beloved Antoinette in the hearts of his family and his memory will be cherished by his daughter, Marie Fafalios and son-in-law Milton, his son, Robert Angione, daughter-in-law, Arlene, his grandchildren, Courtney, Jeff, Meredith, Kenneth, and great-grandchildren, Levi, Elise, Silas, Vienna, and Hope.
Visitation for Ralph will be on Sunday, April 14th from 3:00-7:00 PM at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home in Hoboken (Washington and Seventh Streets, parking on Seventh).
A eulogy service will held during the visitation at 5:00 PM.
A funeral service will be offered at the Hoboken Gospel Chapel (7th and Bloomfield Streets) at 11:00 AM, Monday April 15th, with entombment to follow at Flower Hill Mausoleum, 5433 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ.
