
Andelo “Angelo” Dadic, 79, passed away peacefully Monday May 20, 2019 at his home in Hoboken.
Andelo was born in Poljica, Croatia to Mate and Mara Dadic. After settling in Hoboken in 1970 with his wife and son, Andelo worked for many years as a butcher and house painter in Jersey City and Bergen County.
Andelo has rejoined his parents, brothers Joso and Toni, his dear sister, Zora, and his beloved wife Marija Dadic in the hearts of his family. Andelo’s memory will be treasured by his beloved son, Zdenko Dadic and daughter-in-law Debra Dadic, his cherished granddaughter, Tinamarie Dadic, and his dear sister, Ivanka.
Visitation for Andelo will be on Tuesday May 28th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home in Hoboken (corner of Washington and Seventh Streets, parking on Seventh). A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann Catholic Church in Hoboken (Corner of 7th and Jefferson Streets) on Wednesday May 29th at 10:45 AM. Interment to follow in his hometown of Poljica, Croatia.
