Corrado Mongelli, 76, of San Antonio, Florida passed away on December 20, 2019.
Corrado was born on August 23, 1943 in Molfetta, Italy where he worked on his family’s dairy farm. He came to America when he was 27 and was employed as a truck driver. In his lifetime, Corrado was also a business owner, including owning a restaurant and a coat factory. He was a member of the Juventus Soccer Club in Hoboken, NJ. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, home cooked meals and wine, and watching live soccer.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Mongelli, his daughter Elisabetta Mongelli-Kasper, his son Saverio Mongelli, his 5 grandchildren, and his sister and 2 brothers who reside in Italy.
Visitation for Corrado will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with an 11:00 AM Mass at St. Francis Church in Hoboken (corner of Third and Jefferson). Burial will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.
