
David Segarra, 60, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020.
Born August 13, 1959 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, David spent many years in Hoboken and became a fixture in the community. When he wasn’t working for the Hoboken Board of Education, David loved following his favorite teams, the Mets and the Cowboys, dancing and singing, and cooking for family and friends outdoors.
David has rejoined his dear mother, Victoria Figueroa, and brother, Jesus “Chupy,” in the hearts of his family. His memory will be cherished by his beloved son, Aaron, his loving siblings, Maritza, Orlando, and Nelson, his dear nieces, Christina, Ashley, Nikole, Victoria, Gabriella, Jessica, and Marilyn, and many close friends.
Visitation for David will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home in Hoboken (corner of Washington and Seventh Streets, parking on Seventh). A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Church in Hoboken (corner of Jefferson and Third Streets). Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
