Joan Kay Goldstein, passed away on March 29, 2020.
Born to Martha and Samuel Kay, Joan grew to lead a life full of creative expression, inspiration, and excitement in Brooklyn and New York as an only child to a single mother. Fueled by the arts and a competitive spirit, Joan’s work as a dance teacher saw her showcase skills in Latin dance contests as well as English horseback riding. Other creative outlets also included working as a makeup artist, an aesthetician, and an interior decorator; her talents earned a feature article about her home in Architectural Digest. Joan also shared over 40 years with her husband, Albert Goldstein, before his passing in 2000.
Joan’s memory will be treasured by her daughter, Martha Kay Goldstein, as well as by extended family and friends all across the country.
In honor of Joan’s life, a memorial will be planned to celebrate her remarkable years, with details to be shared here as they become available.
