Robert J. Reardon, 94, of Whiting, NJ passed away on April 3, 2020.
Born to Gladys Goscher and John Reardon on December 3, 1925 in Hudson, MA, Robert grew up in Hudson before serving in the US Navy during WWII. Upon his safe return he married Lorraine Moore on August 3, 1947 and they shared 72 years together, including raising their son, Robert J. Reardon, Jr. Working for many years and becoming a supervisor in shipping and receiving, Robert and Lorraine moved from Moonachie, NJ to Whiting as they took time enjoying retirement. When he wasn’t lining up shots playing billiards, Robert was known to enjoy time outdoors including gardening, swimming, and especially fishing.
Robert has rejoined his dear parents in the hearts of his family and his memory will be treasured by his beloved wife Lorraine, his dear son Robert and daughter-in-law Linda J. Reardon, his cherished grandchildren including Lynell M. Jackson, James Miller, Brendan Dotter, Christopher Jackson, and Nicholas Jackson, as well as many dear nieces and nephews.
Celebrations of Robert’s life will be planned and held in the future with information to be shared on this page. Robert will be laid to rest at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ in a private burial on April 13, 2020.
