Richard Altomare, 56, of Hoboken, passed away on May 6, 2020.
Richard, born on July 11, 1963 was the son of the late Antonio and Angela Altomare, and is survived by his brother Anthony Altomare, and sisters Marisa Picardo, and Rosanna Lucignano. He was the beloved uncle of his four nephews, Eric Altomare, Nicholas and Damian Lucignano, and Adam Picardo, as well as the brother-in-law of Louis Picardo, Lori DeBenedetto, and Dominick Lucignano. He is survived by many, many loving cousins and friends as well.
Richard was a Hoboken High School graduate who went on to get his B.S. in Business from St. Peter’s College in 1984. Richard was the proprietor of Giant Wash Laundromat for over 25 years, continuing in the family business which started back in 1961. He was a die-hard Yankee fan who not only loved spending time with his family, but enjoyed playing trivia and singing karaoke with his friends.
