Gregorio Rios, 56, of Union City, passed away on May 24, 2020.

Born to Adelina Gonzalez and Ismael Velez on August 25, 1963, Greg lived for many years as part of the community in Hoboken. Whether serving his neighbors at the Rite Aid or enjoying free time on his bike, dancing, or working with his hands to build things, he was beloved by many. Of dearest comfort, Greg’s family remembers his laugh, his smile, and his engaging ability of always being the life of a party. Known to those close to him as “Cheech,” he will long be remembered for his dedication to his work and earning the respect of all who met him.

Though deep sadness marks this parting, Greg’s family finds comfort that he is now in God’s peaceful, loving embrace and watching over the family. Greg’s family will lovingly continue to celebrate his life including his dear parents, his loving sister, Liliam, his cherished daughters, Stepanie Rios and Roseline Rios, and his beloved grandchildren.
