Jose Aroch Alvarenga, 44, of Union City, passed away on June 12, 2020.
Born to Silvia Rebecca Duran and Jose Luis Alvarenga on May 11, 1976 in Santa Ana, El Salvador, Jose and was raised by his beloved grandparents in his early years. A few years later, he moved with his parents and siblings to the United States, living for a time in Brooklyn before putting down roots in Union City. Known for keeping up with world events, Jose was also skilled at following the rhythm of life, whether enjoying Hip-Hop working as a D.J., putting things together in construction, or using his talents as the go-to “electronic guy” to fix things for the family. In his free time, Jose loved all kinds of Sci-fi films as well as the Game of Thrones series.
Jose lived a life of faith and gratefully accepted the blessings of love given by his family, as well as the blessings to care for his beloved daughter, Pricilla, and dear pets Hailey and Boots. Jose showed his devoted and loving nature to all who were fortunate to know him. Though sadness is present at his passing, his family takes dear comfort knowing that Jose is at peace and watching over his loved ones until all will be reunited in Heaven.
Now at rest, Jose has been reunited with his dear grandparents, Ana M. Lopez, Maria Magdalena Hernadez (Mama Elena), and Jose Eduardo Murcia (Papa Guayo), his uncle, Luis Alonso Moreno, and his beloved puppy, Boots.
Jose’s memory will be honored in the hearts of his family, including his parents and step-father, John Calderon, his daughter Pricilla Alvarenga Guzman (spouse: Samantha Guzman), Barbara Acevedo (Mother of Pricilla Alvarenga Guzman), his pet, Hailey, his siblings including Ana H. Alvarenga (spouse: Angel Rivera), Enoc Alvarenga (spouse: Rachael Calderon), Gabriel M. Calderon (spouse: Alexandra Calderon), and Michael A. Calderon, his niece and nephew, Sephora R. Calderon and Noah JP Calderon, his uncle and aunts, Nelson Michael Romero, Sonia Alvarenga, Anabel Alvarenga, and a multitude of dear cousins.
