Madeline C Buda (nee Cuicci), 94, passed peacefully in the home of her children on December 24, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Alfred Buda, in 2015.
As a seamstress and homemaker, Madeline enjoyed sewing, reading cookbooks, making gourmet meals and desserts for her family. She also enjoyed the theater, dancing, world travels, as well as manicures/pedicures and standing appointments at her hairdresser. Her love for shopping and accessorizing her outfits made her a true fashion diva.
Madeline leaves behind her son Ignatius and his wife Theresa, daughter Catherine Ball and her husband Christopher, her beloved 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, her sister Carol Miller, her brother Peter Cuicci and his wife Ann, plus her treasured nieces and nephews and friends.
Church services will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Hoboken (704 Jefferson Street) on June 21, 2022 at 11:00am. Burial will be private.
Donations can be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, two of Madeline’s favorites.
