Frances Anne Sciarra (nee Valentino), 89, of North Bergen, New Jersey, formerly of Hoboken, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Donato Sciarra. Devoted daughter of the late Carmine & Erminia (nee Pagano) Valentino. Loving mother of Patricia, Ernest & his wife Stephanie, Michael & Lanette, Joseph and the late Anthony. Cherished grandmother of Madeline, Gina, Erica Lynn Caiola & husband Vinnie, Anthony & wife Ali, Max, Leo, Francesca, Julia and Anthony. Adored great-grandmother of Graziano, Gia, Severino, Faith and Adam. Dear sister of Carmen “Sonny”, Angie Cappitelli, Dominick “Mickey”, Johnny and Barbara Solomon. Devoted Godmother of Tommy Cappitelli. Also survived by niece Lee O’Malley & husband Steve and their children Anthony, Billy and Dena and many other family and friends.
Visitation for Frances will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 3:00 – 9:00 PM at Lawton-Turso Funeral Home at 633 Washington Street, Hoboken (Corner of Washington and Seventh Streets, parking on Seventh). A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 11:30AM at St. Ann R.C. Church, 704 Jefferson Street (Corner of Jefferson and Seventh Streets). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
