Anna Pignotti – June 5, 2022

Anna Pignotti, 89, passed away on June 5, 2022.

A fixture in the community for many years, Anna owned a card store on Washington Street. In her leisure time, she could be found enjoying a trip down the Shore to bask in the sun, visiting the Borgata, or finding her next travel adventure destination.

Anna had a skill for leadership as she served as president of the Saint Ann’s Guild on Jefferson Street. She also knew how to manage a project and was a strong advocate for accessibility and the pick up/drop off area that now stands in front of 1 Marineview Plaza. 

In eternal peace, Anna joins her loving husband Anthony Sr, treasured grandson Anthony III, her cherished brother, Charles Lisa, and her beloved mother, Mildred Lisa and father, Samuel Lisa.

Anna’s memory will be honored by her family including her children, Grace Anne and son-in-law Joseph Johnson, Anthony Jr. and daughter-in-law, Annie, her grandson, Christopher, great-grandson, Colson, her sister-in-law, Emily Lisa, her nephew Samuel Lisa and his wife, Jackie, her great-nephew Sammy Boy, and many loving cousins and God-children.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann’s Guild in Hoboken. 

Visitation for Anna will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Hoboken (704 Jefferson Street). A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church from 12:00PM – 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
