Angel David Diaz, 48, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022.
Born on August 17, 1974 in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Margarita Vazquez and Angel David Diaz, Angel had a passion for cars of all sizes, shapes, and colors. “Babito” as he was known by his family and dearest friends could often be found racing his Nitro RC Cars or sharing the music in his Toyota Corolla Wagon; his four 15-inch subwoofers carrying the beat for blocks around. His passion and talent for speed and good music was only second to his genuine and loving heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
Beyond cars, there was a special place in Angel’s heart for his puppy, Bullet, whom he loved like a son. A gentle soul with a smile that could fill a room, Angel’s quiet nature never stopped him from being a clown who knew what to say to make others laugh.
For those whom he called friends, it was always clear how deeply Angel loved those who shared his life. He lived his life filled with love and generosity and steadfast character making him an “Angel” on Earth. He will be remembered as a passionate and humble man, dearly loved and missed by numerous friends and family.
Angel’s memory will be honored by his loving family including his dear parents, Margarita Vazquez and Angel Diaz, his beloved siblings including Leslie Diaz, Edwardo Ramos, Gerardo Ramos, and his cherished nieces and nephews including Vicky Ramos, Desiree Ramos, Julian Cardona, Desten Ramos, Andre Cardona, Justin Ramos, Olivia Cardona, and Isabella Molinarez.
Visitation for Angel will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Lawton Turso Funeral Home at 633 Washington Street, Hoboken (Corner of Washington and Seventh Streets, parking on Seventh). Interment will take place at Hoboken Cemetery on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
Dear Babo,
You will be dearly missed especially by those who were always there for you and always had your back. Your loving mother who never left your side, your father, your 2 oldest brothers, & your other mother/big sister. You were the baby of the house. Loved by all of your nieces , nephews and you were also a granduncle. You fought like a champion but God need it you by his side. You no longer will be suffering and dealing with your painful treatments. The Heavens are welcoming you with open arms with all your loved ones who left before you and get to hug you now. Your best friend and companion Bullet is so exited to see you. Now you can run and play with your faithful dog who waited for you at the golden gates of Heaven. Be at peace cousin and until I see you again.
