John E. Lawton, Manager
NJ License # 3905

John joined the family profession in 1982 and now carries the tradition as the fourth generation to serve Hoboken and Hudson County. Earning his accreditation from American Academy McAllister Institute, John has faithfully served on call for families for over 35 years and understands how to provide caring comfort during the grieving process. In addition, his attention to detail will ensure your wishes are arranged with dignity and will welcome all who come to pay their respects.

Since needs arise at any hour, Lawton-Turso Funeral home relies on its directors to manage the care and quality of your needs in the event John Lawton is unavailable. Most of all, with a combined experience of over fifty years, all families can feel comfort knowing they are in very capable hands.

Emily Lawton, Office Administrator

Emily is currently attending funeral directing school at the American Academy McAllister Institute to follow in her fathers’ footsteps.  

John “Johnny” W. Lawton, Parking Assistant & Hearse Operator

Johnny Lawton oversees ensuring all families have a spot to park on the day of service.  He also undertakes various transportation duties to assure successful and safe transport of your loved one to their final resting place.

Martin “Marty” Nathan, Funeral Home Staff
